Lisbon board approves tax refunds and a package of year-end budget transfers

The Board of Selectmen on Aug. 10 approved a set of tax refunds and a broader package of end-of-year line-item transfers. The minutes list refund approvals for Victor S. Moore ($248.20), James H. Laudone ($17.26), Lisa A. Lewis ($100.93), Thomas L. Phelps ($56.63), William B. Krauss ($12.57), Deborah A. Bialowas ($224.68), Robert G. Schmidt ($10.64), Douglas R. Hueg ($9.89) and Stephanie H. Calouro ($92.07). Motions to approve the refunds were recorded as made by Robert T. Browne and seconded by William C. Surfus; each motion carried unanimously.
The board also approved multiple end-of-year line-item transfers, including but not limited to: $4,575 from LI#60111 (Highway Department Wages) to LI#51114 (Bookkeeper Wages); $950 from LI#52722 (Social Security/Medicare) to LI#51212 (Assistant Town Clerk Wages); $6,250 from LI#52731 (Town Counsel) to LI#52521 (Employee Insurance); and $17,100 from LI#52731 to LI#52733 (Insurance & Bonding). The minutes record a single motion to approve all listed transfers and note the motion carried unanimously.
