Ballston Spa trustees unanimously approved a request from Ribbon Cafe to hold a fundraiser on Sept. 12, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The motion includes permission for setup and breakdown and authorization to close part of Prospect Street for the event; a certificate of insurance was noted as being on file.
The chair thanked local business partners and volunteers for supporting charitable events. Trustee Fundanza moved the motion and it passed by voice vote with no opposition. The approved closure is conditional on standard event coordination and proof of insurance.
