Dunmore council approves DCED-backed ERP grant to modernize financial software

Dunmore Borough Council on July 13 approved Resolution Number 5 of 2026 to pursue Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) funding for an enterprise resource planning (ERP) package intended to modernize the borough’s financial and scheduling systems.
Borough Manager Greg Wolff told council the grant is part of DCED’s Phase 3 funding and covers accounts-payable and other financial modules. “We are eligible for a minimum of 50 percent from DCED with the potential up to 90 percent,” Wolff said, meaning the borough could ultimately pay as little as 10 percent of implementation costs. Council adopted the resolution by voice vote.
Supporters said the change will streamline billing, payments and scheduling across borough operations; Wolff said staff will provide a follow-up update in September with additional grant details and next steps.
