Johnsburg board adopts 2026 budget after November public hearing

The Johnsburg Town Board approved the town's 2026 budget, the board's presiding supervisor said as the item came before members. "Now therefore resolved, the Town Board hereby approves and adopts the 2026 budget as substantiated attached," the supervisor read when moving the item.
The supervisor reminded the board that a public hearing and a preliminary budget approval occurred on Nov. 6, and members moved and seconded the final adoption. The board called for the vote after asking for questions; the motion carried. The board did not discuss changes to the revenue or major capital lines during the public portion of the meeting.
