Clerk (S3) said she has begun a comprehensive vault inventory and is evaluating options to digitize large-format items, including a fragile railroad map and linen material that is too thick for standard scanners. "They were really happy and excited to use us as kind of a benchmark for certain, record keeping," the clerk said. She and the board discussed options for archival scanning vendors and the need for archival-grade handling and storage practices.
No formal vote was required; the clerk will continue inventory and follow up with recommendations to the board.
