Board approves special event permits for Tannery Pond community day and juried art fair

The Town of Jonesburg board approved two special-event permit requests for Tannery Pond. The first permit authorizes Community Day and an outdoor show on Sept. 20, 2025; the second authorizes a juried art and craft fair on Nov. 21–22, 2025. Staff clarified that separate vendor permits will be required for food or alcohol vendors and that the art fair is expected to be indoors.
Chair (speaker 1) called for the motions, which were moved, seconded and approved by voice vote. The approvals are limited to permitting the events to occur; any vendor operations or sales will require the town's standard vendor permitting process.
