The Town of Johnsburg board approved two special event permit requests to allow alcohol sales at scheduled Adirondack glass-blowing events. Chair (S1) presented a permit for Bandstand Brew Works (Van Sam Burrows) to sell alcohol on July 17 and July 31 at the Riverfront event, and a separate permit for Glens Falls Brewing to sell beer on July 10 and July 24. Both permits were moved, seconded and approved by roll-call.
Chair (S1) explained the Bandstand Brew Works request: "Van Sam Burrows is asking for permission to sell alcohol at the 17th, 07/17/2025, and July 31 events." Board members recorded affirmative votes in roll-call for both permits and raised no substantial objections during the discussion. The permits will allow alcohol sales at the specified event dates; standard event rules and permit conditions apply.
