The council approved Temporary Traffic Order 2026-07 for Laconia Motorcycle Week, scheduled June 13–21, 2026. Councilor Soucy moved to approve the order and Councilor Hildreth seconded; the motion passed 6-0. Staff and public-safety reviewers had vetted the TTO in coordination with police and fire departments.
Charlie St. Clair, who advised the council he would be available for questions on the Motorcycle Week traffic order, noted a change from prior years: "the progressive tent will be moved to the other side of the sidewalk, more in front of the Mount Washington building." The transcript records that the TTO was reviewed by Public Works, the Laconia Police Department and the Laconia Fire Department prior to council action.
