Commissioners reviewed Richland County's holiday policy, which previously referenced "any other day appointed by the President or Governor." Commissioner Nathan Berseth moved and Commissioner Perry Miller seconded a motion to change the policy language to "any other day appointed by the Richland County Commission." The Board voted unanimously to approve the wording change.
Commissioner Miller also reported receiving outreach from the American Red Cross executive director and suggested the county connect with the organization because the Red Cross has previously donated items to county members during times of need. The Board tabled discussion on the overtime portion of the policy to the next meeting.
