Commissioner Bobby Katz presented a budget amendment for the drug control court after the county received additional revenues. Katz described the amendment as a balanced update to the program's budget.
"A 170,000 there. We had some more revenues sent to us. They're gonna spend 67,000," Commissioner Bobby Katz said while introducing the item, and he characterized the amendment as a balanced budget action. The commission moved and seconded the resolution and approved it by voice vote.
The amendment was presented as programmatic spending adjustments within the drug court's existing authorization; commissioners did not identify changes to program policy, only updated revenue and expenditure figures.
