The Robertson County Commission voted to approve Resolution 051826041, a rezoning request by Nick Changus for a portion of property at 5369 Hooks Branch Road. Planning staff told the commission the planning commission recommended approval by a 5–0 vote and that the rezoning would allow one house parceling consistent with septic and lot-width considerations.
"They're wanting to get the house off into its own parcel and the way that septic laid for that ... so it's just for the lot width," planning staff explained during the public hearing. The chair closed the public hearing, a motion and second were offered, and the commission passed the rezoning by voice vote recorded as 13 for, 0 against.
The transcript indicates no members of the public spoke against the request at the hearing. The planning staff and commission characterized the change as enabling a division of the parcel to allow a house site consistent with local septic and lot-width rules.
