Robertson County attorney Clyde to transition duties; son named interim July 1

County attorney Clyde told the Robertson County Commission on May 18 that he plans a transition in the office after about 36 years of service. Clyde said he has brought his son into the law practice and that he told Mayor Vogel he would step back and make his son Jared available as interim county attorney effective July 1.
"I've reached a point where I think that, I've got my son in the law office," Clyde said, adding he would stay on to handle matters already underway and allow the incoming county commission to determine a permanent appointment after September 1. Commissioners acknowledged Clyde’s long service and said the transition would be handled to ensure continuity of county business.
