Engineer: Well 7 permit received; street project closeout and watermain plans advance

Adam Bunge of CES Inc. reported the village has received the Construction Permit for Well 7 and noted a final well water-quality test will require retesting for radium and gross alpha before applying for operating permits. "We received the Construction Permit!" he said, and staff flagged SCADA revisions as a controlling item to finish the Well House and obtain operating approval.
Bunge also reported Rock Roads completed the CV 2025 Streets Improvements Project and submitted final quantity reviews; pay request 3 will be the final payment and will release retainage after the contractor addresses the punch list. For the Mill Road watermain replacement and river crossing, Bunge said alignment and easement exhibits were submitted to the Village for landowner review; plan revisions were discussed to accommodate IDOT’s US-20 improvements before finalizing the plan set.
