The St. Charles County Council on July 27 approved two conditional use permits that allow distinct uses on private properties.
Bill No. 5506 (CUP26-03) grants permission for buildings, structures or open spaces to be used for weddings, wedding receptions or other private parties at property owned by Dan Lauderdale and Kelly Lauderdale; Baxter Engineering (Charles Wardle) was the applicant. Bill No. 5507 (CUP26-04) grants a conditional use permit for a private school on property owned by Glennon McCreery with K9 Consulting and Training, LLC listed as the applicant. Both measures were approved in recorded roll call votes with six yes votes and one absence (Councilman Hollander), and each was described in the meeting minutes as approved 6–1.
Council Chair Mike Elam requested the roll call votes and the clerk recorded the outcomes; no substantive discussion or recorded amendments preceded the votes.
