Resident Richard Pickering described a close call when vehicles parked on both sides of the street forced drivers into the center of the lane, calling the arrangement dangerous and urging the district or county to consider off‑street pickup options.
Speakers asked the council to explore options that would avoid sending county police to enforce a total no‑parking zone and to coordinate with school and road authorities on long‑term structural solutions.
