Present by phone from Winnebago County were Supervisors Bill Jensvold, Terry Durby and Susan Smith, along with Auditor Karla Weiss; Collin Klingbeil from Jacobson Westergard presented the engineer’s report.
After the presentation, Supervisor Bill Jensvold moved (with a second from Supervisor Kyle Stecker) to set a public hearing on Joint DD WK 35-89 Lat 12 Waterway for Sept. 15, 2026 at 9:00 a.m.; both boards recorded unanimous approval. The hearing will allow landowners and affected parties to comment on the engineer’s report and proposed actions for the waterway.
Why it matters: setting the hearing advances the drainage district process and provides a formal forum for landowner claims and project decisions. The boards recorded the motion and scheduled the hearing by mutual action.
