Trustee Dan Nelson moved to authorize payment of bills totaling $174,772.30 and Trustee Molly Thrasher seconded; the motion carried. Trustee Nelson also moved approval of a $400 façade grant for A&B Garage (seconded by Trustee Patrick Flanigan) and the board approved a $107.30 travel reimbursement for Clerk Bezely for attendance at a Municipal Clerks of Illinois workshop in Moline. Regarding the requested handicap parking space, the board discussed curb access and IDOT approval; Trustee Bernie Victor moved to begin the process and Trustee Molly Thrasher seconded.
Other routine items recorded in the minutes included the board declining to purchase a football preview ad to save funds for infrastructure and a donation from Ring Lawn Care donating mowing services prior to Ladd Days.
