Cottonwood County approves multiple staffing changes, hires new public works director

Separately, the board voted to hire Noah Boerboom as the new Public Works Director effective Aug. 31, 2026, at Range 31, Step 2 ($69.06/hour), contingent on successful completion of hiring requirements. The board also approved an Employment Agreement for an interim county engineer (Stephen Schnieder) effective Aug. 18 through Dec. 31, 2026.
