LaBella Engineering: ECMP pool project to go to bid; board authorizes solicitation

Kevin Hasselwinder of LaBella Engineering updated trustees that the DC Board of Health has approved a smaller septic footprint for the ECMP pool and pool house project and that an Elgin system will be permitted without a reserve field. He said bids will be posted to BidNet and advertised in the newspaper by April 7, with bids due by May 13; construction is anticipated to begin the first week of August, and village and town highway crews will assist with removal of the old pool and bathhouse.
Deputy Mayor Hartzog moved and Trustee Sherman seconded a resolution authorizing solicitation of bids for the project (Resolution 2026-13); the board approved the motion unanimously. The minutes do not include bid estimates or procurement schedule beyond posting and due dates.
