Board certifies trustee election results; Olin, Prendergast, Schlesser win unopposed

Brianna Olin and Matthew Prendergast ran unopposed for the active member positions and were elected to two-year terms expiring May 9, 2028. Norbert Schlesser ran unopposed for the retired member position and was reelected to a two-year term expiring May 9, 2028.
Trustee Sharon Novak moved and Trustee Matt Prendergast seconded certification of the results; the motion carried unanimously by voice vote. The board also noted that appointed trustee terms for Gina Aguilar and Sharon Novak expire May 12, 2026 and that the Mayor will reappoint those trustees at an upcoming Village Board meeting.
