Olney officials discuss Silver Connect proposal for solar panels, 25-year roof guarantee

The chair said the company "did not get everything together" for the meeting but is working with investors and planning to present a proposal that would include new panels and a full roof replacement.
"They are working to get everything together to give us a proposal, about putting some panels on top of the Pacific Cycle roof, and that would also include a 25 year roof that they would then guarantee and make any repairs for over that 25 year time," the chair said. Council members discussed potential tenant savings and the combined effect of power sales and tax credits on project incentives; staff will return with details when the company provides a formal offer.
