The Richland County Board of Commissioners convened March 4 at the Richland County Courthouse and unanimously approved the meeting agenda and minutes from Feb. 4 and Feb. 25 after motions by Commissioner Nathan Berseth and a second by Commissioner Terry Goerger.
On a separate motion, the Board approved the Treasurer's Report and later approved payment of the county bills after reconvening at 10:30 A.M. The clerk reported payroll totals for February 2025 by fund and a payroll total of $837,763.39; expense totals for the month were listed at $2,140,507.91, bringing combined payroll and expenses to $2,978,271.30.
Commissioners recorded unanimous votes on the routine procedural motions. The meeting adjourned following a series of department reports and project discussions.
"A motion was made by Berseth and seconded by Goerger to approve the agenda. Vote was unanimous," a meeting record states.
The Board will meet again on March 18; a tentative Legislative Wrap-Up is scheduled for May 14.
