Olney awards $14,405.61 bid to replace tennis-court lights with LEDs

Councilmembers asked about payback and incentives; Bradley said the fixtures would pay for themselves over time and that the city also qualifies for a utility incentive that could further reduce net cost. A councilmember moved to accept the low bid and the council approved the contract award.
Representative quote: "We're looking at replacing the 24 light fixtures there to tennis court with new LED lights going from 1,500 watts to 500 watt fixtures," Mr. Bradley said.
