Commissioner Grzych and Chairperson McDaniels reported unanimously positive feedback on the MLK Unity Brunch held earlier this year. "The venue, speakers, and food were wonderful," Commissioner Grzych said.
Chairperson McDaniels and Village staff suggested moving next year’s entrance to the main door to improve accessibility for guests. The commission also agreed on a no-campaigning rule for the event next year while allowing elected officials to speak.
The group discussed logistics for the entrance change and noted they will finalize event flow and accessibility arrangements at a subsequent meeting.
