Council waives boat-sticker fees for RCHS bass-team youth events

Kesher said the events attract participants from across the state and have been conducted successfully in past years.
Staff told council that some past application forms were incomplete — missing items such as state registration numbers and insurance information — and asked that the organizers supply those details this year. After that clarification and a brief discussion of logistics and volunteer support, council made and seconded a motion to approve the permit and fee waivers; the motion carried.
Kesher said of past events: "Everybody that's came out here says we put on a a really good showing that loves the town." Council members noted the events can bring tourism benefits and expressed support for the high-school program.
