For WIC, the court approved participation in a state-funded one-time retention stipend program described in Exhibit E. The stipend guidance (Texas Health and Human Services Commission) provides up to $4,000 per eligible WIC employee, payable in September 2024 and invoiced in fiscal year 2024. The court approved moving forward with the stipend for local WIC staff by unanimous vote.
