Trustees at the Village of Lansing Committee of the Whole on April 7, 2026 approved the March 17, 2026 Committee of the Whole meeting minutes after a motion by Trustee Abbasy and a second from Trustee Zeldenrust. Roll call listed Trustees Abbasy, Zeldenrust, Nommensen, Smith, Lamothe and Valencia as ayes and recorded no nays; minutes were approved.
The Committee took no final action on substantive departmental items but directed staff to place several items on the Village Board agenda for April 21, 2026. Those items include a request for a partial Class 8 tax-incentive reclassification for 16801 Exchange Avenue, proposed peddlers/transient merchants/food-truck ordinance revisions, proposed fiscal year-end fund transfers, a Planning and Zoning recommendation on a special use for 2861 Bernice Road, procurement items for eCitation and security systems, and a subdivision/RDA amendment for a Tru by Hilton project.
