Council accepts Uptown Hills improvements after resident raises stormwater compliance concerns

A resident of the area urged caution and said he had filed a contested case citing NR103 and compliance under the Dane County Water Quality Plan and a North McGaw Park amendment (CARPEC resolution 2009-15), requesting to see the Department of Public Works’ work plan, permits and inspection records before the council accepted the improvements. Public-works staff replied that city inspections were completed and that remaining items were minor and expected to be wrapped up prior to occupancy; the council carried the resolution.
