Council approves surplus auction, Cintas agreement and radio grant application

Meadows Place City Council on Jan. 27 approved several procurement and grant-authorizing resolutions.
The council authorized the Mayor to enter into an agreement with Lemons Auctioneers, LLC and Online Pros under Buy Board #708-23 to auction city equipment declared surplus (Resolution No. 2026-03). The council also authorized a five-year agreement with Cintas for City Hall mat rental and uniform pants rental and cleaning for Public Works and Parks field staff (Resolution No. 2026-04).
Separately, the council authorized the Mayor and Police Chief Gary Stewart to submit a grant application to the Office of the Governor (grant number 57562-01) for interoperability radio purchases (Resolution No. 2026-05). All three resolutions passed unanimously after motions and seconds recorded in the minutes.
