The Melissa City Council unanimously approved a multi-item Consent Agenda during its Jan. 27 Regular Meeting. Items approved included minutes from earlier meetings; a preliminary engineering site plan for Rock Creek Retail (10.621± acres near U.S. Highway 75 and Fieldstone Drive); a final engineering site plan for Melissa Retail (2.63± acres at 2403 McKinney Street); a resolution to purchase heavy equipment; authorization for the City Manager to enter a Professional Services Agreement with WSB LLC to develop an Emergency Response Plan; extension of the depository services contract with SouthState Bank; and an amendment to Melissa's Code of Ordinances, Ordinance 92-04, Chapter 7 Article 7.12.
Craig Ackerman moved to approve the Consent Agenda, and Sean Lehr seconded the motion. The council voted 7–0 to approve the items listed on the Consent Agenda. The minutes record the site-plan locations and the professional-services authorization by name and address where applicable.
