The Marlin City Council approved multiple water-infrastructure repairs on Oct. 15. The council voted to accept Jurgensen Pump, LLC quotes for Rockdam pump repairs ($8,635.00) and Hobby pump repairs ($8,758.00), and separately approved $22,574 for repair of the sludge pump at the Water Treatment Plant. The combined total of those three reported approvals is $39,967.
Staff also reported operational details for September: water sales of $186,566.08 and 33 million gallons treated and pumped. Council minutes note that City Park lift-station repairs previously approved are now complete and that parts for a new cutter have been ordered and were awaiting shipment. Council approved all repair quotes by unanimous vote.
