Council opened a public hearing on Oct. 15 to consider adoption or amendment of the City's tax abatement policy. After receiving public comment, Mayor Pro-Tem Debra Levels-McDavid moved to table agenda items 10 and 11 so that staff could add language inserting a 'no limit' provision on an attorney-suggested line in the draft policy.
The motion to table carried unanimously. The minutes record no amended text or final vote on the substantive policy at this meeting; council scheduled further consideration after staff incorporates the change for a future agenda.
