The Lindale Planning and Zoning Board voted April 13 to approve the preliminary plat for 472 Lindale Addition, D. White Survey, A-1091, located at 13970 CR 472. Steven Lloyd, Director of Planning and Development, told the board that "the owner is ready to move forward with the development and would like to begin construction on a portion of the street, stopping short of Centennial Blvd," and that the owner plans to dedicate the entire street portion on the plat for future completion. The motion to approve included a condition requiring revision of the proposed street names and submission for approval prior to the final plat.
Staff flagged that the development will have a single access point on CR 472, that radius corners will be included on the final plat, and that drainage will need to be addressed. The board also discussed the potential for a turn lane on CR 472. Kelli Campbell made the motion to approve the preliminary plat; Darrel Vidrine seconded. The motion carried 5-0.
