On April 21 the Lindale City Council voted to approve an engineering services agreement with Brannon Engineering to prepare plans and estimates for painting and repair of storage tanks at Well Nos. 5 and 6. The council approved the agreement for $39,000, which covers work orders 26096 (Well No. 6) and 26097 (Well No. 5). Greg Kilgore moved for approval; Sallie Black seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Rea Boudreaux of Brannon Engineering presented the engineering cost summary and said the engineers will compile a complete bid package and detailed cost estimates prior to the bidding phase. The council directed that the project be brought back for council approval before work proceeds to the bidding stage.
