Council approves $1.54 million payment to AMERESCO for water meter project

Council moved and seconded the payment approval (motion by Bill Powell; second by Max Ledesma) and carried the motion unanimously. The contract between the city and AMERESCO was approved in October 2024, and the payment follows that contract’s procurement and invoicing procedures. The council also heard that the water meter kick-off meeting is scheduled March 27 with an initial project start date of April 3.
