Marion ISD board reorganizes leadership, swears in new and returning trustees

During reorganization following votes and executive sessions, the Marion ISD Board of Trustees elected board officers for the coming year. Karl Harborth moved to name Caleb Rackley as President (motion passed 6-0-1 with Rackley abstaining); Jamie Mote moved to name Bubba Kunde Vice President (6-0-1 with Kunde abstaining); Bubba Kunde moved to name Jill LeSage Secretary (6-0-1 with LeSage abstaining); and Jill LeSage moved to name Jamie Mote Chaplain (6-0-1 with Mote abstaining).
The board also approved the nomination of Brad Reiley to fill a vacant board position by a 4-0-3 vote (Karl Harborth, Bubba Kunde, Jill LeSage and Jamie Mote voted aye; Ryan Zwicke, Ryan Schwab and Caleb Rackley abstained). Christy Smith administered the Oath of Office to Dr. Karl Harborth, Jill LeSage and Brad Reiley during the meeting.
