Tazewell County Planning Commission names members to three subcommittees

Tazewell — The Tazewell County Planning Commission on June 11 appointed members to three standing subcommittees to oversee the comprehensive plan, subdivision matters and capital improvements. The appointments list Vice‑Chairman Hayden Lyons and Member Harry Cundiff for the Comprehensive Plan subcommittee (Chairman Moss named as alternate); Members Anthony Ramella and Eddy Brown for the Subdivision subcommittee (with Vice‑Chairman Lyons as alternate); and Chairman Robert “Bob” Moss and Member Lance Wimmer for the Capital Improvements subcommittee (with Member Kyle Cruey as alternate).
The motion to approve the slate was made by Member Anthony Ramella, seconded by Member Harry Cundiff, and recorded in the minutes as a 5 to 0 vote. The minutes also note that members introduced themselves during an added “Introduction of Members” section so newly appointed or recently absent members could be recognized. The Commission scheduled follow‑up work through the subcommittees to manage detailed reviews of plan updates, subdivision applications and capital‑project prioritization.
