Council approves consent agenda including property conveyance, TxDOT right-of-way and election order

At the start of the Feb. 3 meeting the Marble Falls City Council approved the consent agenda by a 5-0 vote. Items approved included:
- Conveyance of approximately 0.466 acres (Burnet County parcels #28775 and #28776) known as 1001 Main Street from the Marble Falls Economic Development Corporation to the City (Resolution 2026-R-02A). - Dedication of 0.027 acres of city-owned property at the intersection of FM 1431 and US Highway 281 to the Texas Department of Transportation and approval of related right-of-way documents (Resolution 2026-R-02B, ROW-N-143 & ROW-N-14). - Approval of an Underground Agreement and easement to the Pedernales Electric Cooperative (PEC) for electrical service to the Via Viejo High Service Pump Station. - Appointment of Danna Laine Doremus to TIRZ Board No. 1. - Approval of Ordinance 2026-O-02A ordering a general election to be held May 2, 2026 for three council seats.
Councilmember Lauren Haltom moved to approve the consent agenda and Councilmember Karlee Hubble seconded; the motion carried 5-0.
