The Marble Falls City Council on Feb. 3 held a public hearing and approved Resolution 2026-R-02D, finding public necessity and authorizing fee acquisition (including condemnation if necessary) of property described as a 0.304+/- acre parcel at the southwest corner of US Highway 281 and 2nd Street and related portions of adjacent lots (property identification No. 28270) owned by Jason A. Coleman and Leslie A. Coleman.
City Manager Caleb Kraenzel presented the item and the public hearing was opened and closed with no public discussion recorded. Mayor Pro-Tem Craig Magerkurth moved to approve the resolution; Councilmember Griff Morris seconded. The motion carried on a roll call vote of 5-0.
The resolution authorizes staff to proceed with acquisition actions necessary for street and pedestrian improvements described in the resolution and referenced public records.
