Council appoints Jim Berry and Rod Wilson to Parks & Recreation Commission
Summary
The Marble Falls City Council appointed Jim Berry to Place 4 and Rod Wilson to Place 6 of the Parks & Recreation Commission on Feb. 3. The appointments passed unanimously (5-0).
City Secretary Christina McDonald presented five applicants for two vacancies on the Parks & Recreation Commission. Jim Berry and Rod Wilson were present and supported by councilmembers during discussion.
Councilmember Lauren Haltom moved to appoint Jim Berry to Place 4 and Rod Wilson to Place 6; Councilmember Karlee Hubble seconded and the motion carried unanimously, 5-0.
The appointments fill two commission seats and those appointees will serve under the commission’s usual terms and responsibilities for advising on parks and recreation matters.
