Director of Planning and Development Services Adam Bailey said the proposal includes a 10,200-square-foot building with 43 parking spaces and seven pump islands providing 14 fueling positions. Applicant Sohail Ahmed presented a short video and told the Council that "Truck parking will be prohibited on the property."
Councilmember Kenny Green moved to approve the rezoning and ordinance with an additional stipulation beyond the Planning and Zoning Commission recommendation; Councilmember Andrew Hubacek seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The ordinance imposes restrictions and limits a CUP for fuel sales to the applicant, and includes landscaping and screening requirements described by staff. The record shows no public opposition within the statutory notification area.
