After executive session, City of Union declines to seek recovery of expenses in Garner complaint

The motion passed 5-0 and the Commission exited executive session at 8:26 PM with no decisions made during the closed session, according to the mayor.
After returning to open session, Attorney Jeffrey J. Otis explained that in response to a complaint filed by Brian Garner on Aug. 11, 2025, the Commission has decided not to seek recovery of claimed expenses; the caucus packet includes a response letter from Attorney Otis documenting that decision. The meeting adjourned at 8:30 PM.
