On second reading the Commission considered Ordinance No. 2025-10, "An Ordinance Levying and Fixing the Tax Rates of the City of Union, Kentucky, for the 2024 Calendar Year." Mayor Larry Solomon asked for a motion to approve; Commissioner John Mefford moved and Commissioner Doug Bine seconded. The ordinance passed unanimously with each commissioner voting aye and the clerk recording the outcome as a 5-0 approval.
