City Administrator Amy Safran told the Commission that City Attorney Greg Voss had sent letters to businesses delinquent on 2025 business licenses requesting payment of a $50 delinquent license fee, a $500 penalty and a $150 attorney fee. Several businesses had requested waivers of penalty fees.
After discussion the Commission voted to waive the $500 delinquent penalty for first-time offenders but to continue charging the $150 attorney fee. Commissioner Doug Bine moved for the waiver and Mayor Larry Solomon seconded; the motion passed 5-0.
