HR director outlines harassment-training schedule, FSA enrollment and recruiting status

Diane Capasola, Jefferson County HR director, told commissioners she circulated harassment-training sign-up sheets via department leads and noted minimum attendance requirements for each session to avoid cancellation. She asked departments to spread participants across sessions and offered two Dec. 9 time slots and two Jan. 29 time slots for training.
Capasola also said American Fidelity will be on site Dec. 11–12 to help with FSA enrollment and plan presentation, and reported the county currently has two open positions with several hires starting soon; she noted a recent retirement by Eric Sundquist. The board discussed logistics and whether HR would publish a master list or rely on department-level signups.
