Commissioner (speaker 2) moved to approve the Watts Fencing purchase request in the amount of $11,225; motion carried on a voice vote. Staff said they will prepare the contract signature and proceed with procurement and installation.
"So this request is for wildlife friendly fencing around the Archery Range area for the shooting road," staff said when describing the scope. The county will include the contract in its procurement file and monitor installation to ensure gates and fencing match bid specifications.
No commissioner asked to delay the award for further review; competing bids and basic cost drivers (travel and materials) were described during the discussion.
