Little Elm ISD trustees re-elect Mary Watkins president; Jason Olson named vice president, Ken Beber secretary

The Little Elm Independent School District Board of Trustees conducted officer elections at its June 22 regular meeting, re-electing Mary Watkins as board president and choosing Jason Olson as vice president and Ken Beber as secretary.
Secretary Ken Beber made the first motion to nominate Mary Watkins for president, Trustee Jason Olson seconded and the motion passed 5–0. Trustee Jeff Burton nominated Jason Olson for vice president, with Trustee Ken Beber seconding; that motion also passed 5–0. President Watkins then nominated Ken Beber for secretary; the board approved the nomination 5–0.
The elections were conducted by open motion and roll-call vote. Trustees David Montemayor and Eric Wilson were recorded as absent for the meeting. The results were entered in the official minutes and will be reflected in the board roster for 2026–27.
