Commissioners approve $45,000 consulting amendment and correct plow-truck lease payment

The Lorain County Board of Commissioners on July 14 approved two administrative contract changes. First, the board adopted Resolution No. 26-397, authorizing a first amendment to the January 19, 2024 consulting agreement with MCM Consulting Group, Inc., to extend services and add professional consulting/project management work for an amount not to exceed $45,000 charged to account 3480.0000.100.000.03.6200.6203.
Separately, the board amended a prior equipment lease resolution to correct an error in Exhibit B: the annual lease payment for a Volvo single-axle plow truck with dump body will be $53,333.66 for seven years (payments beginning in 2027). Commissioners said the change reflects the accurate payment schedule and authorized the president to sign the updated exhibit. Both resolutions passed unanimously.
