On item 6.5, staff said the applicant proposes to convert a property at 1626 South Falfuria/US‑281 — a parcel that had been used as a restaurant and other businesses and sits near Martin Luther King — back to a single‑family home. "Their proposal is to use it as a single family home," staff told the council. Council moved to adopt the ordinance for 6.5; the motion carried with no recorded opposition.
Both items were heard in the same public‑hearing window; no members of the public stepped forward to speak on either item during the hearing.
The council's actions leave 6.4 pending further Planning & Zoning review and finalize 6.5 as an adopted rezoning ordinance.
