Council member Wotton asked whether the land-use policy makes a distinction between commercial and industrial uses under the moratorium. The clerk/administration noted the moratorium did not distinguish between the two. Council member Holloway reported that the county had completed a first submittal of required materials, that "all the boxes have been checked off," and that the county’s completeness review could take up to about 60 days; Holloway said that after that stage the city would have time to submit comments. The mayor said land-use counsel will be available for the city next week to review consultant materials.
